Rwanda TVET Board and Partners Successfully Conclude Five-Day TVET Expo 2025
From June 1st to 5th, 2025, the Rwanda TVET Board (RTB), in collaboration with Rwanda Polytechnic and their development partners, successfully hosted the TVET Expo 2025 at the Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village (Camp Kigali). Organized as part of the Rwanda FutureSkills Forum 2025, the event served as a vibrant platform to showcase excellence, creativity, and innovation within Rwanda’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector.
The five-day expo brought together a wide range of stakeholdersincluding students, educators, industry leaders, policymakers, and development partners to celebrate the transformative potential of practical skills in driving socio-economic development. The exhibition featured an impressive display of projects developed by learners from Technical Secondary Schools and Rwanda Polytechnic Colleges, highlighting advancements in fields such as ICT and multimedia, robotics, energy, beauty and aesthetics, agriculture and food processing, arts and crafts, hospitality and tourism, fashion design, and more.
In addition to project showcases, the TVET Expo 2025 offered live demonstrations, industry-led dialogues, career guidance sessions, and networking opportunities that connected students with potential employers, mentors, and innovators. These engagements emphasized the growing relevance of TVET in preparing a competitive and adaptable workforce for both local and international markets.
As Rwanda continues to prioritize skills development through strategic partnerships and innovation, the successful conclusion of the TVET Expo 2025 marks a significant milestone in shaping a future-ready workforce and elevating the perception of TVET as a preferred and viable career pathway.
