RTB conducts Workplace Learning Coordination Workshop
On Thursday, 17th March 2022, Rwanda TVET Board (RTB) conducted a workshop on Workplace Learning Coordination that brought together all stakeholders involved in the implementation of Workplace Learning Policy in Rwanda.
The one-day workshop was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Service and Labour with the support of ENABEL.
In his remarks, the Director General of RTB, Dipl.-Ing. Paul UMUKUNZI, said that Workplace Learning is not only the foundation but also the key pillar in the journey towards transforming Rwanda into a High-Income country.
“This workshop is therefore one of the triggers of the success in this journey. The discussion we will have today, the commitments, the engagement and new activities we will initiate may be part of a historical moments that our future generation will never forget.” He added.
The Workplace Learning Coordination workshop aimed at avoiding duplication in the implementation process, enhancing the coordination and collaboration among stakeholders, reviewing the progress of the WPL implementation and share knowledge; and having discussion on WPL priorities for 2022/23.
