Muhororo TVET School boarding facilities handed over to Ngororero District

Rwanda TVET Board officially handed over to the Ngororero District, boarding facilities constructed at Muhororo TVET School in collaboration with Swisscontact under the support of Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC)

The handover ceremony was held on Tuesday 16^th August 2022, at Muhoror TVET School in Ngororero District. These facilities include a dining hall, dormitories and washrooms.

During the handover ceremony, DG RTB, Dipl.-Ing Paul UMUKUNZI, commended SDC and Swisscontact for their continued support and contribution to the development of the TVET subsector in Rwanda.

He urged the school management and District authorities to maintain and keep the facilities in good conditions for their sustainability and benefit of TVET trainees both presents and the ones coming in the future.

SDC representative in the ceremony, Diana Ingabire Karemano said that the facilities will play a role in increasing the number of youth joining TVET programs, thus equipping them with market ready skills.

Muhororo TVET School offers training in 3 trades namely: Masonry, Carpentry and Electricity.
